One arrives in their email every morning, from 1 December to Christmas Eve.

Why we made this

Christmas stopped being about the thing in the box

Somewhere along the way the season turned into a list. Spend a bit more than last year, guess what they want, wrap it, watch it opened in four seconds. We have all given a gift we knew was a placeholder. We have all been given one.

Little Reasons started from the other end. The most valuable thing you can give somebody is not an object — it is knowing, in plain words, exactly what they mean to you. Most of us never say it. Not because we do not feel it, but because there is never a moment that seems like the right one.

So we built the moment, and then we built twenty-three more. One a morning, all the way to Christmas Eve, in your words about your person. Nothing to wrap, nothing to throw away in January, and nothing they will have forgotten by February.

That is the whole idea. A Christmas where the people who matter end up knowing exactly how loved they are.
